When we were together,
I thought it could be forever.
The month of January went by so fast,
That now its in the past.

I want to forget,
Instead of regret.
So many things went wrong,
As we moved along.

I think I should show this outside,
But I let it hide on the inside.
Instead of staying away,
Maybe you could come back in May.

At times you were so sweet,
I felt so complete.
I thought that you were kind,
But I was just to blind.
