Goodbye

I met you on a Thursday
And wow was all I could say,
You made me so happy I cried
And you wiped my tears away.

I never thought I could find someone
As good to me as you were,
I remember a feeling of acceptance
But my vision of you was a blurr.

Its been a whole week
And still no call from you,
Was it something I did, please tell me
Because I don't know what to do.

Should I get over you and move on
Or just wait it out and cry,
I hope you'll be there to wipe away my tears
But until then its goodbye.
