Xo Never Good Enough Anyway

by Brittany Stone   May 7, 2005

The breeze whisper sweet words,
as it wisped passed my face.
Standing there in the park,
staring into your eyes.
I saw loneliness, emptiness,
something I never saw before then.
I heard regret, loss of compassion,
in the voice you spoke.
A tone unlike I ever heard before,
that night in the park.
You promised me the world,
you promised to never break my heart like they all did.
Like I told you you would,
like you did that night in the park.
My trust for you swept away,
you had love for another anyway.
You told me I was worthless,
one huge mistake.
You broke me down, I crumbled to pieces.
I was never good enough anyway..

Xo ::never good enough anyway::
