I've Come Home (to you)

by dandy   May 8, 2005

Next to never, it's here that I stand.
Nothing around or in front of me.

Sun on my face, I look into the light,
and see you; Staring back.

I look behind, and see the loneliness I once knew; What was once my only friend.

No more do I witness my soul as cold;
The warmth is melting the ice-sickle in which I'm incased.

Your blurry image becomes clearer as I see the way;
The way that things are supposed to be.

Lost for so long, searching for compassion, I've found it-I'm home.

I've come home to you; Your arms welcoming and open wide.

At home I've arrived in your embrace,
you've saved me from my worst enemy.

The dusk becomes dawn as the galaxy's brightest star shines its brilliance.
