Deceitful, Yet Beautiful

by Erin   May 8, 2005

He turned and looked at her with a smile on his face.
Little did she know, she would soon be disgraced.

He turned and nodded and said come on let's go.
In her heart it was wrong, but she couldn't say no.

He was looking good, and she'd had one too many drinks.
Her heart was pounding and her mind racing; she didn't know what to think.

It started to drizzle, and then it rained pretty hard.
She didn't know, but he had already broken down her guard.

Him pushing forward, her arching back.
Never did she experience anything this close to heart attack.

They let out a light sigh, as they both start to fade.
Neither one knew what a mistake they had made.

Back at school, the girl started to get a bad name.
The boy, however, only received glory and fame.

He had gotten what he wanted with her and that was the end.
He didn't have any feelings for her, they were simply best friends.

Her innocence was now lost, her hopes shattered.
Nothing in this world could ever seem to matter.

She stared out the window, and tears started to fall.
All she wanted to do was to have him to call.

But he had moved on to a new girl, to start another lie.
The other would ever know the deceit behind his beautiful eyes..
