Being away from you

Being away from you
has made it all so clear
the fears i once had
about being alone
no longer are they here

for all the love you've given to me
has opened up my eyes
and although its unexpected
such a beautiful surprise

to wake up in the morning
and want to face the day
you always make me happy
weather skys are blue or grey

but now it seems
i see you less and less
and suddenly I'm overtaken
by the loneliness

lately these feelings have scared me
and at time I'm overwhelmed
but theres no place id rather be
than always by your side

so although being away from you
has made me very sad
I'm happy because now i see
just how much i love you
how much you mean to me
