End Of Time

by Emma Carnage   May 10, 2005

It's midnight here
And here we are
Laying in the grass
In the middle of a field
Just talking
Talking about nothing
Talking about everything

Your arm around me
My head rests on your chest
I listen to your heart beat
Count each one
And drift into peace
As you stroke my hair
And at last
I can relax

I've waited so long
For you to come along
For this boy of mine
My protector
My hero
My life
My everything
I've waited for you
And now you're here

Promise me you won't let go
Tell me that you love me
Let it slip from you lips
And I will believe those three words
Say it back to you
Finally with meaning
Then to seal the deal
Our lips will lock

I would die to see it in your eyes
To hear those words
To feel it in your touch
And I would die for you
Promise me you won't leave
And I won't let you go
I'll hold on forever

I want to be in your arms
Forever and always
I want to be your girl
Until the end
I want you to love me
Until time ends

People don't get what they want
So I'll say it this way
Because I know
If you were to leave me
That I would die
So it is not just a want
I need you forever
Until the end of time
