Standstill

by carolina   May 11, 2005

Spinning, turning, twirling
life revolves around me
but I stand still, you stand still,
our love stands still.
Alive, so alive
a feeling of floating, I'm soaking it all in.
This feeling is unreal, like a childs fairytale.
Your eyes they shine, they hypnotize.
I begin to cry
so happy I don't hold back.
I smile in your arms, safe from harm.
I stay, we stand still.
Eyes gazing, hands caressing
lips expressing, words are not found.
Floating so free, your arms so tight around me.
Hold me don't let me go.
I gaze and get lost for days.
Your eyes, your smile, you just you.
No one eles.
Sensational together.
We stand still
