Further we walk

by Sabine Taylor   May 12, 2005

I was in a dreamy mood , I guess, when I wrote this poem. It's a bit camp, I think, but I would be glad if you would comment and tell me what you think about it.

Promenading on endless sands
Towards the horizon
Where the sun goes down and the moon arises
As a part of this scenery
We glance at the sky and the clouds
Transformed into a dream of joy and calmness
Deep red and orange along they drift

Further we walk
Arm in arm
When the gentle breeze clasps us
And holds us captive
In that scenery some kind of magical

Love and passion charmingly together
Affect this picture of waking life
And dreamy fairy tale
Leaning on your shoulder
As the wind lifts my hair
Little wisps dancing in the moderate breeze

Further we walk
Arm in arm
I yet lost my shoes on the way
Barefoot I carry the sand
Which is still warm enough
That I feel safe walking on air

Along the horizon
This fairy tale of you and me
Some kind of magical
This feeling I long to hold
Little thoughts drifting away
To soak up this scenery completely
Filled with love and passion
Your kiss deep red
