Always Love You

You’ll never fully understand the way I feel for you
Its like you’ll never be able to see all the things that I would do.
You were my very first love and the one that will always last
The one that makes me laugh and cry when I think about the past.
You inspired me to be my best, though you weren’t here
For whenever I would think of you, I could feel your presence near.
You once said we found each other when we didn’t think we would make it
And we helped one another out, said our love could take it.
You told me you’d always be mine, no matter what road life took you down
That you would always be a phone call away, in a way, you’d always be around.
You’ve been my everything since 5th grade and I refuse to let that go
It doesn’t matter how far you are, I still love you so.
You’ve said time and time again that it wasn’t suppose to be like this
That you were suppose to be with me and you’ve known it since our first kiss.
You’ve also said that this is the road life chose for you and we’d just have to deal
That no matter how many miles were between us, we knew our love was real.
