Why not?

by THATO MORABA   May 13, 2005

(exclusively for Concordia Mhlanga, the only person who has touched my heart)

Why not we live in our own world
as i can see we are getting old,
I'm becoming more bold
and you, more precious than gold.

why not god take us and make a fold
as if we are to be sold
to our one and only world
with it's rules that are soon to be told.

why not the light be glowed
for us to see the good road
that will lead us to our new world
which is definitely out of this world.

i can clearly see indeed
what are your beautiful good deeds
which make my life proceed
growing like a very small seed.

you may wonder why so i say
it's because of what from me you've seized
and what in me you've placed,
and for that I'm truly pleased.

(can you please vote and add a comment about how you really feel about this poem and please be honest as this really means a lot to me and i will vote for you too, honestly.cheers!!!)
