To the Light

I trembled as he held me,
Close within his arms.
I shivered as he kissed me,
I fell fast for his charm.
I melted as he watched me,
With tender, gentle eyes.
So brown, so warm, so loving,
I think of him - I sigh.
I wish to spend each moment,
Within his sweet embrace.
Just to have him near me....
Just to see his face.
He's with me in my daydreams,
He fills my sleepless nights
He's lifted my depression,
And brought me to the light.
