Walking on air

by Sabine Taylor   May 14, 2005

Again I gave some dreamy emotions plenty of rope and that's what came out. I hope you like it.
Much Love ~ Sabine

Waking up in heavenly warmth
That I am apt to fall asleep again
To see your gorgeous face
Affectionately talking to me
In a dream so accustomed
In such a way I exactly know
Which words your lips long to form
Though your eyes told me yet
What connects our hearts peacefully

I fly away, immerse airy
Into an ocean
Filled with lovely words
Your charm and shelter
In every small syllable
My ear is surrounded
By your silent whisper
But I can hear everything
From your heart’s message
A dispatch with soft oaths
Like warm gusts
I yet send back to you

High above the clouds
Cushy I stroll around
The air filled out
With choral songs
Sounds my soul catches
And cosily my heart sways
With this rhythm on heaven’s clouds
In such a way this melody drowns everything out
Though the instruments’ intensity is low

Pillowy I fall down
From heaven’s clouds
When some wings hold me off
From an uncontrolled drop in the depth
And tired I glance back
Where some dazzling wings
Bright and breakable
Adorn my back

My eyes now wide open
Sunbeams from far away
Frame your endearing face
With your eyes locating mine
In a long-lasting kiss
A love everlasting
Accompanied by sweet songs
And caring words
Fell down from heaven’s clouds
Right into your arms
