Summer

It's time for summer,
and I know i am going to fall in love with you
all over again.

I've seen you over the year,
Running around and having fun,
But now, it's time we see eachother again.

It's the beginning of summer,
I look at you and smile,
and we both know this summer will be worth it's while.

I remember the summer before, our times spent together,
Just laying in the grass, smiling and laughing.

We sat outside and talked for hours.
Telling our deepest thoughts,
And talking about life, family and friends.

I remember when you held my hand for the first time.
When my heart jumped with joy,
because that was a big part of my life.

As the memories flash through my mind,
I remember what i am supposed to do,
so I just smile and say hi.

You smile back,
Then you take my hand in yours.
And then i feel, that this summer will be just like last years.
