Her Mask

by JS Creeper   May 18, 2005

As she walks through the halls
Her face is emotionless
She doesn't smile or smirk
She doesn't laugh or cry
She doesn't even frown
A mask covers her face
This mask is firmly in place
Nothing has leaked through it
And it's been the for a long time
Her eyes have turned a dull blue color
No sparkle is left in them
They are completely lifeless
No one understands this
What happened to the girl
The girl who was so full of life
She is now like a statue
She seems as if she has nothing to live for
She is now just a face behind a mask
All because of him
Will this mask ever leave?
Will she ever return to life?
Can anyone take it away?
Can the life be put back in place?
