Jealousy

My heart was aching
I felt it breaking
Jealousy taking over me
Flooding my eyes till i could not see

As your words wrapped around me
I forgot how to breathe
It sent chills through my body
And tears down my cheek

I got weak in the knees
And tried to reply
But the only thing I wanted to do
Was die

I wanted to wake up
And be alone in my bed
Or maybe it would be better
If i was just dead

You asked what was wrong
And I couldn't believe
You just broke my heart
And you can't even see

I looked at you
As if you were insane
And by this time the tears
Were coming like rain

You said you were sorry
But i know it wasn't true
All you ever wanted
Was what I couldn't give to you

I never said it was ok
I never said a word
I just stared at you blankly
Not accepting what i'd heard

When you left you said you loved me
But I said nothing in return
I just looked the other way
As my heart began to burn

I just went home to lay in my bed
And cried myself to sleep
Wondering what she has that I don't have
And why you did this to me...
