To my sweetheart
this is the end.
You were my life.
You were my friend.

You were my life.
You are my dove.
You are the one,
that I still love.

You made me happy,
your smile too,
when you said
"I Love You."

But then you stopped.
And I asked why.
You told me you
Liked another guy.

I tried to beg you
not to go,
I said I love you,
but you said no.

You took my hand
and said this is the end.
I knew in that moment,
we were no more than friends.

Then you turned your head
and slowly walked away.
Then I felt my heart
become as hard as clay.

I was stunned and speachless.
My mind and thoughts unclear.
I was hurting so much,
I couldn't shed a tear.

Then when I got home
and stumbled through the door,
my heart began to hurt again.
I couldn't take no more.

I walked into the kitchen
and turned and grabbed a knife.
I decided in this moment,
that I would take my life.

I hope you are happy
with this new guy.
I'll look down upon you
from way up in the sky.

Just because you left me,
doesn't mean I'll leave you.
Even in heaven
I'll still say "I love you."
