He's nice! Trust me!

I like this guy
he's funny and nice
but all my friends think
he should be frozen in ice

i don't understand why
they talk to him like that
he's never said mean things to them
not once called them fat

so i ask you why
they hate him the way they do
they say things like
he's not good enough for you

you shouldn't like him
he's mean and a jerk
and why does he have
that annoying little smirk?

so i try to convince them
he's not always bad
but they don't want to listen
and that's what makes me sad
