Sorrow

by ElizabethE   May 22, 2005

You can't stand this sadness,
the pain i make you feel.
This sorrow that consumes you,
all of it is real.

I love to watch your tears,
fall from your mascara eyes.
But when you feel happy,
small pieces of me die.

I'm the small dark figure,
in your corner in the night.
I'm the words left unspoken,
and the times you jump in fright.

Its when you cry your tears,
that i grow much stronger.
With the emptiness inside,
you cant hold on much longer.

Bad thoughts fill your mind.
Will you make it till tomorrow?
Even if you do or don't,
Always remember I am sorrow.
