Worlds That Slide

by ntv650   May 23, 2005

Shattered dreams and emotions overcome,
Your listening to the beat my heart hums.

Loosing past but living in the present
Staying awake to be your protection.

All sorrows no longer easy to remember.
I’m lying on my bed, fighting the slumber

Regrettin the eternal past that I cannot render,
Pressure against my chest, to your touch surrendered.

Magic enveloping me as my senses start to cut in,
Your mouth whispers and I hear everything except nothing.

Pleasure fills me inside, disturbing the tranquility,
I lay my book by my side, your gentle hands convincing me.

Reality has now faded so deeply into a dream
Holding each other closer, I feel your breath.

An ethereal state surrounding you and me
Wrapping yourself around me, I try not to tense,

Somewhere our worlds meet and collide,
And after struggling a little, gently into one-another slide.
