Step by Step

by Daniel Mulvany   May 24, 2005

Step by Step and through the years,
My life I've spent moving along,
Through shattered dreams and endless tears,
Past doorways where I don't belong.
Looking for comfort; finding none,
Save in the Lord who cares for all.
But who on earth should be my one?
Upon who could my love befall?
I've cared for few, but greatly so,
Still in my time I've never found,
Someone, in return, to show,
A love equally to abound.
So treading on, and standing here,
Searching for love, wondering where,
I could find someone so dear,
I turn to find you standing there.

Once again this is outstanding not simple because of the elaborate vocabulary but your abilty to create something that seems effortless and glides across the page...
