CRUSH

by nakita   May 24, 2005

Words often linger, long after the breath that spoke them has faded. Your smile the only reason to live, the only reason to die. I live off of our memories, your voice lulling me into a hollow sleep. To speak of my feelings would shatter our friendship, but cover my heart with shadows is far worse. I pray for the sun to rise, the stars to fall so that i can once again be reunited with your smile. Untill then i wait, hiding within my feelings, denyiing to myself what i know is true.
