He can never be mine

I'll sit and think of only him and i don't know why,
cause I know he can never be mine.
he's givin his heart to a girl thats my friend,
he's her boyfriend.
I don't wanna get into a sticky situation,
Even though i can't stand this hesitation.
I want him but I can never have him it doesn't matter how much i care,
It just wouldn't be fair.
to my friend whos been so loyal all these years,
it just wouldn't be right to cause her tears.
I've already screwed her over once and i won't do it again,
even if i have to play pretend.
its my fault because I let him go a long time ago,
But the way i would feel is something i didn't know.
now i want him back more than you could imagine,
but that will never happen
