For a while you'll remember him
and wish he was at your side
you'll remember how your heart leapt
each time he came into sight.
For a while you'll cry at night
as he holds his new girl friend
and remember how he held you
and how you didn't think it'd end.
For a while you'll still get chills
at the thought of his sexy voice
and remember how it hurt you
when he made his final coice.
For a while the tears will still flow
when you hear a certain song
and your heart will break each time
you remember that he's gone.
For a while you'll remember
the feel of his sweet touch
but what you wont realize
is that you don't miss him as much.
And as the days pass by
and the months begin to change
you wont remember how hurt you were
or hand him anymore blame.
Believe me I should know
