The Sea

by kiesha   May 29, 2005

The shining sea sees so many things.
Be very quiet and you will her the songs it sings.
First in the water and then on the sand,
Like a long arm, it touches the earth with its hand.

The sea takes care of the coral and fish.
Even the sharks that make their tails swish.
It loves the turtles and the whales,
It loves the eels with their slimy tails.

Fishers will fish and swimmers will swim,
If they are lucky, they might catch a glimpse of a mermaid's fin.
Snorkelers may snorkel and divers may dive,
But they know and respect that the sea is alive.

It's shallow and deep and a beautiful blue,
And all the things in it are each a different hue.
The sea has company all night and day long,
So listen, listen to its beautiful song.
