August Parade

by Alex   May 29, 2005

Dresses once green in life's leisure
Turn, and flit as edges outline gold and crisp
Millionaires in Beauty walking in dazzling gold
Sparkling in showered diamonds
Passion grows as reds and yellows flare
And so set flare the parade
"Release us" is screamed
And breeze picks up
Sprint and jolt across the dirt floor
"Release us" Hurricanes of pride and colors
The show is over
The trees stand bare
