Another hard lesson

Your not worth my tears not worth my pain not nearly good enough for me to sit here and cut away at my vein
so i wont not again, not now so please just leave with you here heart ache is I'll I've found
too many tears is what I've cried from those three words "I love you" were just a lie
I don't know why i listened I'm smarter than that its like you put me in a fog, like a magician you made me believe you were my prince but you were just another frog
but I'll be OK in time things will be alright but you'll still haunt me in my dreams each night
where I'll remember your face and you deep blue eyes and the good days where your words didn't cover up my cries
when you listened and made everything OK like when we stayed up all night looking at the stars on the ground we lay
but those are just memories and thats all i have you even took my heart but left in me the dagger in which you stabbed
but the tears will one day wash away and the smile will return this was just another hard lesson i had to learn
