Thinking About You

by Emma Carnage   Jun 1, 2005

You moved away
Made things hard for us
But I was willing to try
I didn't want to give you up
Until you stole my heart
And broke it to pieces
Then I wanted nothing to do with you
But you've entered my life again
And I hate to admit it
But I miss you

I'm not ready to try again though
You live too far now
Long distance never works
But maybe if you visit this summer
I might change my mind
I just need to spend time with you
Feel your kiss on my lips
And your arms around my waist

I made a mistake
I can admit it now
I want something between us again
Maybe this summer
I just hope you can come out
I hope I can see you again
Because I want to know how things could be

I write this as the sky darkens
My hand shaking slightly
Feeling butterflies in my stomach
Thinking about you again
Wishing something more had happened
Wishing you never moved
Wishing you were still with me
