My angel from above

I remember when we first met,
You were shy and I was too,
You might not think me timid now,
But I was when I met you,

I thought you hated me,
Who'd of thunk it... I was wrong,
You liked me and I liked you,
And now we're together we're so strong,

Slowly we grew closer as friends,
I was close with your brother at first,
I've always got on better with guys,
Girl are to mean, even when they're not at their worst,

But you my angel,
You're different, you're pure,
You have bad days as everyone else,
But I know you're good at the core,

With you I am myself,
I don't hide my tears, I just cry,
You can make me smile so big and sincere,

Although I don't share your faith it's still true,

Although we have our differences,
