What Kind of Girl

by Ian Robert   Jun 2, 2005

I keep trying to find the words,
They just keep falling apart in my mouth,
I love you, with every part of my heart.

Even with the part that broke,
From all of the girls,
That liked to do that kind of thing.

I’m never going to get it right,
With you it never matters anyway,
I know how you feel, and I just need to tell you.

How much you mean to me, how I’d do anything,
Just to have you in my arms for one more day,
This is the kind of note a boy would give a girl.

I’m really not good at this kind of thing,
See I’m going to try anyway, Try and get you,
In my arms cause that’s where you belong.
