    I have no motivation
    just pools of self doubt
    Caught in waves of desperation
    unable to get out

Loved those lines! -- You're such a wonderful daughter, all you want is to please your parents. I don't know how you couldn't. Great poem hun.

    Love you.

    Excellant poem. Powerful expression!

One thing though, you tend to stick to ABCB 4 line verses, and I must say you write superb poems with this scheme, but maybe if you wrote in a different style like free verse or another rhyming structure for a fresh challenge? I think with your talents if you wrote a poem in a style that was less......confing and more free, like free verse, then your talent could truly shine and your ideas would be so colourful and passionate I think I would LITERALLY cry with sorrow or laugh with joy. Either way, keep writing beautifully!

This was a beautiful piece of work, you caught the readers attention, and held it, I kept thinking it would have a magical ending, but you know what, there is no magical endings, its just this thing we call "life".
If your parents could read this it would truly break their heart, as a parent I know we expect perfection, but not really we only want whats best for our chidren, and we think we know what that is, but the truth is we don't know either. thank you so much for sharing this beautiful piece, and just know as a parent, I know your parents are always so proud of you, I think sometimes we get confused on the fact, that we can be so angry at someone, but that doesn't mean we stop loving them, unconditional love is just that, unconditional, and thats what it takes to be a good parent...see- you are so talented you get me going in 10 different directions with one little poem,hehehehe----you are good, never doubt yourself, or the love your parents have for you, love ya becky

You really have a way with words. I know I feel like everything I have done in my life was never good enough. I have accomplished a lot but I have always been the black sheep of the family. I look forward to reading more of your work you have a lot of talent. ~Brooke~
