Gone with out a trace

by Abby   Jun 4, 2005

I was walking home one day,
And you were walking my way.
I saw you with her,
Now you’re just a blur.
You looked right at me,
But can’t you see?
The pain in my eyes.
This is why.
This is why I can never look at you.
We were supposed to stay true.
When you came home,
I was all alone.
You walked in the door,
And I was on the floor.
You told me to get up.
Good luck.
Good luck trying to wake me up.
I’m bleeding to death,
And I just took my last breath.
You call the police,
And you ask god please.
You ask god please don’t take her up above.
But you just got shoved.
The police said it was suicide.
You’re so mortified.
You don’t know what you did wrong.
It’s been so long.
Since you’ve been here.
All I ever wanted was someone to care.
No you can go on messing around.
3 weeks later, they’re putting me in the ground.
You come and stop by.
And you ask why.
You ask why I did it.
You’re a bunch of bull sh**.
You were never there.
So why do you care?
Why do you care if I’m gone?
Now you can move on.
Now you don’t have to deal with me.
Can’t you see?
All the pain
You are really lame.
To say you love me,
But we were never meant to be.
So this is the best place.
Now I’m gone without a trace.
