The gentle breeze, tickles me face,
The wind is like you,
It reminds me of gentler times.
Then there's silence;
Silence only broken by distant hammering,
The hammering stops, the quietness returns.
Then the sky clouds over,
The rain starts to fall in angry drops.
The storm rages on, I hold tightly to you.
Wind swirls, it rips you from me,
It ripped us apart and everyone else kept us that way.
I see you disappearing into the dark, swirling with the wind.
I scream into the night, waking myself up,
I look beside me but you were never really there.
They say that 'Love can survive almost anything',
But can it survive this?
I've always know that the only person I ever needed was you.
Can we find our way back?
