CLIFF EDGE (2)

by FlowerThatDied   Jun 5, 2005

I lay here in this coffin
Cold and dead to my core
An ever growing silence
As no one will know what I saw,

I lay here in this darkness,
Wondering why you went,
An ever growing silence
As I wonder if you were heaven sent,

I lay here burning in the crematoriam,
And wonder if you meant to,
Kill me with the angry push,
But I've left my heart with you,

My soul will keep on living,
As I lay here in the dirt,
And as I still lay bleeding,
I'm relieved of all the hurt.
