I liked you better before you found out what love truely is.

by Kortnie   Jun 8, 2005

I wore a smile of mischief and denial.
Crippling grief overcomes me,
It's your ways I can not believe.
Why do you have to be so hollow?
Your hands around my throat,
I can barely swallow.
Hurt shoots from your eyes like daggers,
Slitting my wrists left only to stagger.
I know your love was there before,
you loved me its hard to ignore.
Look at me one last time...
your eyes once so sublime
now filled with hate and fear
i love you, i do my dear.
