Believeing

Seeing is believing
then i must be blind,
so how can i believe if i can not see.

a wall of darkness surrounds
my heart,
hiding,
fearing.
your lack of love
for me
surprises me everyday.
the way you haunt my
blindness, oh how i long to see
to look into your eyes,
and never feel another
tear fall from my forever
darkened eye.

i look at you,
you look at me,
and a glimmer of light
shines from my
heart
then you would fall in love
with me and i you
then i would believe
that dreams can come true.
but that will never happen
because i am forever blind, and the
only thing I'm sure of is dreams
are only rhymes.

until i gaze up at you
i will not believe,
i will not dream
if only you could see, whats
deep inside me, and see how
you really feel and this
darkness covering my eyes
would disappear.

living my days as a
ghost
without your hand in mine
then when i see you
a glimpse of light brightens my forever
darkened soul
and for a moment
I BELIEVE!
