I Thought

Once I realized I was finally in love,
I thought it must have been sent from the Heaven's above,
I remember the first time I looked into your eyes,
Who would have ever thought you were filled with many lies,
I thought you were the one that I would spend my life with,
But I should have known that I was in a fairy tale of myth,
I thought maybe one day you could be my boyfriend,
But I guess we just don't blend,
I tried my best to make my love for you show,
And I thought you would give me a chance and not let go,
But why was I to think so,
I thought I had actually found someone that was right,
And filled my heart with delight,
But now when I see you it only fills my heart with despite,
I guess I thought to many things that I should've known that aren't or never will be true,
Because I know now I no longer love you.
