Until the End

I know she's fighting back the tears
She tries to be so brave.
She doesn't seem to possess
The happiness she craves.

She doesn't know how to handle
All of the choices she has made.
She changes based on the friend
And lets her true self fade.

I wish she would just realize
That she doesn't have to change everyday.
That there is someone who cares
And will help her in every possible way.

I just want to let her know
That she has a loving friend.
That no matter what she says or does,
I'll be there until the end.
