Closing my eyes I try to breathe,
Thinking of how I'll feel,
If I should die tomorrow
I'd drown in my sorrow and self pity
Wanting to be wrapped up in you,
But I still stand alone,

Walking toward this danger journey
I am not sure I want this,
Wondering round this strange new path,
I want life to be like this,
I used to hide in the shadows,
Shadow follower they'd say,
Now I've come out into daylight,
But my heart remains,

In the midnight light which has darkened now
In the shadows where I can hide
My heart's not showing how it really feels
I'm still trying to remember how to sleep

Stirring, Stirring through the night
Under the glare of the full moons light
It's judging me once more
Judging me like it has before

I want to be in the middays light
In the daylight where I can't hide

I am the shadow follower always be,
The daylight will never fully change me,

But I still hide in the shadows,
