Lucky to have You

I always give you a hard time,
Or whine to someone about something that's wrong,
But I've realised in truth,
I am one of the lucky ones,
It's come to my attention,
Guys you think are awesome can still be jerks,
Tonight I saw my friend prove this to me,
He flipped at me, the works,
He's treating his girlfriend like nothing,
Not even TRYING to talk things through,
He finds a movie more important,
When he's got problems that aren't new,
He's huffing and he's puffing,
Snapping at me and his girl,
He doesn't realise if he carries on,
He'll lose his entire world,
He loves he like I love you,
Of that I'm still entirely sure,
But he's not treating her right,
She deserves so much more,
I complain I don't see you enough,
Compared to them I see you too much,
I get upset when we argue,
But compared to them we don't really argue as such,
You stress at me like a normal person,
But at least you don't drive us to the edge like he's doing,
You apologize and try to remain calm,
And keep us ever moving,
He's been rude and completely out of order,
Yet she loves him still,
And just like I love you,
Continue to do so she will,
She'll forgive him and not let go,
She'll take care of him and be kind,
She'll stand up for him incessantly,
This is because love is blind,
I understand her completely,
I'd do exactly the same too,
But seeing this outburst from her boyfriend,
Makes me realise how lucky I am to have you.
