Black Eclipse

The moon passes over the sun
It covers the earth in darkness
The sky no longer has a light
For the sun and moon are fully black

No sounds are made
No animals or creaking floors
Moments passed
And the darkness stayed

The silence was nice
But now it is broken
The moon passes on by
And the sun is bright

The dark was great
But now is gone
People and things are loud
As they all went back to what they do

No more darkness
And the light hurts
Bring it back
And cover the world in shadow
