That girl of many colours

by FlowerThatDied   Jun 19, 2005

Just another day,
Walking down same road,
In the same way,
Every single moment,

I walk alone,
My hands are cold,
But I still walk alone not being shown,
What love really is,

Counting days up until the day you come back,
Showing the cuts that are so well hidden,
Opening my heart too easily is what I lack,

I'm an open book,
So Innocent to the world,
Thats the girl I play,
But it doesn't make it true,

I'm that girl that you see,
I seem so easy,
But I'll get if you stand in my way,
I may seem so sweet now,
But you don't know the half,
I may seem so naive now,
But thats just because you haven't hurt me,

Color me black,
And let me get my revenge,
Color me white,
And I'll be so Innocent again,
Color me in red,
And I'll bleed for you,
Just don't color me in your love,
Because I will become so vulnerable,
Everyone will hurt me,
It's been tested an proved,
I'm not as stupid as I seem,

I'm that girl that you see,
I seem so easy,
But I'll get if you stand in my way,
I may seem so sweet now,
But you don't know the half,
I may seem so naive now,
But thats just because you haven't hurt me,

You see through me now,
Even if I'm invisible,
So now just let me hide,
I'm colored in blue,
These tears won't stop dripping down,
Dripping from my eyes,
And even when I look into the sky,
And pray to the lord,
These tears keep on dripping down,
Dripping from my eyes,
I'm that girl of many colors,
One that you now despise.
