Dear maggie

Dear Maggie
dear self
why have you changed so much
you've changed Ur hair
you've changed Ur clothes
you've become everything they wanted u to be
u changed your thoughts
once deep and morbid
and alerted them
so that they are of simple things
that the everyday man would think about
you've stopped your writing
except for this simple poem
that is just your own dumb thoughts
you walk and talk like the everyday
person
and cant just be yourself
all because of these bitter pills
that you slip down your throat day after day
that the doctors tell you to take
but why are they so important
why cant you just stop them
why cant you just snort them
get you high and keep you numb take you away
for 1 forever hour
your so fake Maggie
so phony and so pretend
cant you just talk
cant you just say what you mean and mean what you say
because when you talk it never seems to be you anymore
I'm loosing you
your fading away and your becoming one of them
you miss what your used to
you miss cutting every night
because thats what can comfort you
thats what your accustomed too
dear Maggie
don't fade

an alright poem...can tell you put effort into it...but its too revealing...poetry should be mystical and confusing so no one knows what your talking about when behind it all theres a large message being said...but thats just me...
