Diamonds

by skarrlette   Jun 23, 2005

Blue gittering water
diamonds ripple blue and navy
horizons of color fading in and out
melting into, the atmosphere
grey, blue, violet, and pale peach

i feel it touch caress the soft
blackening in my background
white dots of fantasy

she sits still on the rock
listens to waves crash but sees nothing
smells salt, tastes in on her tongue

misty covered moistness
drizzles on her skin
wetness, oh wetness
makes her feel alive

alive
