Happy Birthday Mommy,

by A.Hill   Jun 23, 2005

Happy Birthday mommy,
even though you're not here.
You've been gone,
For yet another year.

Happy birthday mommy.
Why did God have to take you?
No other woman
Could ever replace you.

This year you would've
Turned 30 years old.
I'm only 5,
And daddy left me in the cold.

I'm in a foster home,
Wishing you a happy birthday,
Hoping that you hear me
At night when I pray.

Happy birthday mommy,
One day I'll see your face.
Can't wait to see you in Heaven,
And meet your warm embrace.
