These eyes never sparkle
They've lost their shine

These eyes were once beautiful
Once upon a time

These eyes held so much life
And everything was fine

These eyes now are blank
Like a dull gray dime

These eyes are now lifeless
With not a single sign

These eyes wont give a chance
They are no longer divine

What happened to these eyes
To cause them to loose shape

What happened to this girl
Who nows always wears a cape

What happened to her life
Now held together with tape

What happened to cause this
Is there anyway to escape

What happened to change her
And put her in this poor state

What happened to the life
Once held in her fate
