Why he had to do it
is still on my mind
i would have been devastated
but it's not the first time

college come around the corner
and he need someone by his side
a girl who he can trust
a girl thats down to ride

everyone thought we were the one
that everything would go right
an then when he messed up
and turn something so dark that had always been bright

never cry over something thats replaceable
you can always find another
but no one can gaurantee
that he would be a great lover

so i hope and pray
and i held my ground
told him it was over
and turn his sorry excuse down

then his friend
one whom he cherish
came over to help comfort
and my sorrow soon perished

he was so kind
holding on to my every word
but this was no ordinary friend
this was his number 1 bird

he told me he would love me
and wanted me to be his wife
i hope that you remeber
that im still 16 in this life

he told me he would wait
and im like yea right
this sounds to good to be true
and he put up a fight
