Love Eyes

by Stephen Levant   Jun 24, 2005

Brown eyes gaze into brown eyes conveying wonder. They seek hope, and a chance, as bodies respond to a clap of thunder. The mystery presented before them evokes contemplation and marvel. What is her essence? What is his essence?

A thought darts across the mind scape. A smile dances upon the lips. They purse to reveal the gleaming. In their delight, they find themselves scarcely able to conceive each other. Their parents could, however, have saucily and deftly brought them into the world.

What is a mate save seeking the completion of oneself? Brown eyes become blue, midst the gathering, as Id, Ego and Superego confer and shudder. Invariably, life has twists and turns. Shift! Left or right rudder! The son of man has found his princess, and every man is his brother...wanting.
