I know they put you in the hospital for a reason

Christmas Night

Kit I have some bad news,
My mom said to me
Something happened
And mike wont be with us this evening

He died at the hospital
While waiting for you to get there
O darling don’t cry
I’m so sorry dear

The next morning

I got a letter in the mail..

Dear kit,

Yea it’s almost Christmas
And I would love it if you could come
The surgeries weren’t to bad
The needles made my body numb

The doctors said they don’t know
If I will make it or not
But I want you to know
That I wont give up

Well I better call my mom
To tell her to buy dinner for us two
Hopefully we can see each other tomarrow
