Why would you look at me the way you did,
If you never really cared?
Why would you tell me how you felt inside,
If you had to look into my eyes and lie?
Why would you take me in close,
And say that I was the one?
Why would you kiss me the way you did,
If you never really meant it?
Why would you say and do all this to me,
If you knew it would make me fall in love?
Why did you go and have to lie to me?
And make me actually think you did care.
Before you said it was over...
I wanted to tell you how much I cared,
You made me open my heart to you,
But what did you have to go and do?
You shot a dart and broke my heart in two..
I wrote this on the night my boyfriend broke up with me...
